  • Develop advanced dashboards and tools for real-time performance visibility.
  • Translate complex data into compelling, executive-ready insights that drive strategic decisions.
  • Champion a culture of data-driven marketing across teams.

2. Drive Strategic Forecasting & Scenario Planning

  • Partner with Finance, Analytics, and Channel Strategy to align forecasts with enterprise goals.
  • Build dynamic models to evaluate media mix, budget shifts, and audience strategies.
  • Present clear, actionable insights to senior leadership to guide investment decisions.
  • Continuously improve forecasting through automation and cross-functional collaboration.

3. Build a Scalable Experimentation Practice

  • Architect a centralized testing function across all paid media channels (Search, Display, TV, Email, Direct Mail).
  • Govern a robust testing roadmap aligned with business priorities.
  • Ensure rigorous methodologies and statistical integrity in all experiments.
  • Create a centralized repository of learnings to accelerate innovation and reduce duplication.

4. Scale Segmentation & Personalization

  • Lead the in-house activation of 1st-party data and predictive models.
  • Partner with Data & Intelligence teams to deploy new segmentation strategies.
  • Ensure ethical, privacy-compliant data use in all activation practices.

5. Grow and Develop a High-Performing Team

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts and media experts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Define clear growth paths and skill development opportunities.
  • Establish KPIs to track team performance and impact.
  • Recruit and retain top talent in digital media and analytics.

6. Provide Executive Oversight of Media Operations

  • Support the Director of Activation Management & Operations to ensure seamless execution.
  • Oversee scalable processes, tools, and infrastructure for campaign delivery.
  • Drive operational excellence and speed-to-market across all paid media initiatives.
Job Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience leading internal teams and external vendors in digital marketing and performance measurement.
  • Strong business acumen and technology background to drive solutions that deliver measurable business value.
  • Proven success in developing and managing high-performing teams in dynamic environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in business, finance, mathematics, or a related analytical field preferred.
  • Strategic leader with experience building and optimizing digital campaigns to drive growth.
  • Ability to think strategically while being hands-on when needed.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic marketing decisions.
  • Excellent communicator—able to translate complex ideas and technology solutions into business impact for executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated success managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Expert knowledge of digital marketing strategies, platforms, and attribution models.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio or Tableau.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
