About the Role:

The Senior Director of Brand, Content, and Communications is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and increase company and executive influence through public relations. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of brand management, content marketing, and global communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Strategy and Management:
    • Work with Brand and Content Lead to develop and execute brand strategies aligned with company goals, values, and target audience preferences.
    • Strategically guide brand positioning, messaging, and voice across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
    • Ensure the implementation of brand guidelines and standards to ensure consistency and cohesion in all brand communications.
  2. Content Strategy and Development:
    • Work with Brand and Content Lead to develop a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with brand and demand generation while resonating with target audiences.
    • Lead cross-functional collaboration to create high-quality, engaging content across various formats and channels, including blog posts, whitepapers, videos, social media posts, and more.
    • Ensure content is optimized for reach, user experience, and lead generation purposes.
  3. Strategic Communication Planning:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies aligned with organizational goals, values, and target audience preferences.
    • Identify key messages and themes that support brand positioning and drive engagement with target stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, marketing, and HR, to align communication efforts across the organization.
  4. Media Relations and Publicity:
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with members of the media, industry influencers, and other external stakeholders.
    • Pitch story ideas, press releases, and thought leadership content to relevant media outlets to secure positive coverage and publicity.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and interview requests, coordinating responses and spokesperson availability as needed.
  5. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Build and lead a high-performing team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster individual growth and team success.
    • Set clear goals and expectations, and establish processes and workflows to ensure efficient and effective execution of marketing initiatives.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the marketing team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on brand management, content marketing, and customer marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and concepts.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, content management systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

$225,000$265,000 USD
