We’re seeking an experienced content designer to accelerate learning and engagement for new and returning users. As a Senior Content Designer on our Growth team, you’ll create clear, inclusive, and actionable product writing to help users discover value, take action, and build lasting trust in every interaction. You’ll own content design strategy and execution across key Growth surfaces, developing UX writing for experiences such as onboarding, notifications, and in-product guidance. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, research, design, and marketing to deliver a consistent, inspiring voice, shape scalable content systems, and experiment toward measurable growth outcomes.
What you’ll do:
- Lead content design for high-impact Growth work streams, independently scoping opportunities, setting vision and strategy, and delivering high-quality solutions that shape user journeys.
- Build scalable content frameworks, standards, and naming systems to support Pinner needs and unlock experimentation.
- Leverage data, user insights, and A/B testing to evaluate and optimize content for engagement, education, and discoverability.
- Collaborate and influence cross-functional partners, presenting your work, co-creating solutions, and advocating for the user.
- Evolve and apply Pinterest’s content guidelines to scale inclusivity, accessibility, brand consistency, and global impact across experience touch-points.
- Stay aware of industry shifts and cultural trends in the ways people communicate online; filter and apply these insights to keep Pinterest’s content fresh and relevant.
- Embrace ambiguity and fast-paced environments, navigating trade-offs, and owning outcomes in your area.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in communication, human-centered design a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in content design or UX writing for consumer products, with a portfolio demonstrating user-centric content, design strategy, and measurable impact across in-product, push notification, and email experiences.
- Expertise in defining, evolving, and applying content systems, frameworks, and standards, including using AI-powered tools and workflows to help scale your approach.
- Experience driving A/B tests, experiments, or data-driven optimization for content effectiveness.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills to align and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proven self-starter: you’re skilled at navigating ambiguity, carving out strategy, and taking full ownership of your work area.

- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
