What's the role?As a Senior Communications Manager, you will lead the execution of People Communications strategies that support HERE’s business and people priorities. Reporting to the Head of People & Customer Communications, you will act as the functional lead for the global People Communications team, driving the end-to-end execution of internal communications strategies across the organization, and serving as the internal executive communications partner for the Chief Platform & Technology Officer (CPTO).You will shape strategic communications, elevate leadership engagement, and ensure communications deliver clarity, consistency, and alignment across the company. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day‑to‑day execution of the People Communications strategy by translating business and people priorities into clear narratives, plans, and deliverables.
  • Serve as functional lead for the global People Communications team and enable collaboration, development, effective workflows, and quality standards across all outputs.
  • Develop end‑to‑end strategies and content for major internal communication programs, ensuring messaging is timely, relevant, and aligned with key stakeholders.
  • Act as the executive communications partner to the CPTO, managing strategy, narrative development, messaging, and delivery of all internal executive communications.
  • Drive adoption of communications best practices, including editorial standards, governance, and channel discipline, to increase clarity, quality and impact across the organization.

Who are you?You bring extensive experience in corporate communications and thrive in a fast‑moving, collaborative, and global environment. You connect complex topics into clear narratives, operate with a hands‑on mindset, and excel at leading large‑scale communication efforts.You have:
  • 12+ years of experience in corporate communications or a communications agency, ideally within a technology organization.
  • A proven ability to think strategically and craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Experience leading high‑performing global or cross‑regional teams with a focus on collaboration, accountability, and growth.
  • Experience in senior executive-level internal communications, including development of executive communications strategies, narratives, messaging, presentations and talking points, as well as providing strategic counsel.
  • Proven experience in integrating AI and/or automation to streamline processes and augment outcomes
  • You are a strategic thinker and dot connector with a hands‑on, execution‑oriented mindset, comfortable moving between strategy development and delivery.
  • Exceptional skill in prioritizing business needs and managing multiple projects with urgency.
  • Excellent writing, editorial, organizational, and project management skills, with professional English proficiency.
  • Experience with communication channel management and analytics.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate complex, cross‑functional environments.
  • A university degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
