Job Description

  • This position supports LEGO global media and marketing teams with Media and Procurement activities and overall management of the media supplier base these LEGO business areas/categories require on an as needed basis.

What your day will look like:

  • Responsible for creation and execution of a global Media Sourcing Strategy, with emphasis on media agency, digital publisher and media AdTech needs of team member groups, and market trends & opportunities.
  • Drive an effective Supplier Relationship Management program with key suppliers.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of global supplier landscape (agency landscape, publishers, tech, ancillary media related suppliers eg auditors, measurement) relevant to LEGO marketing.
  • Strong partners management, engaging with global, regional, and local internal stakeholders at a Senior level: using media subject matter expertise to proactively challenge partners and their supplier scopes, to ensure the most effective supplier collaboration aligned to LEGO commercial strategy.
  • Partnering with central Global Marketing to enable a consistent global and local approach.
  • Responsible for educating global and local stakeholders on LEGO’s procurement policy and process, as needed, and the practical application of this.
  • Identify synergies prioritising cross functional collaboration to enhance upstream Procurement resource allocation. 
  • Managing global and local RFI, RFQ and RFP processes.
  • Conduct commercial negotiations with suppliers.
  • Drive supplier productivity, helping to build a productivity pipeline, working alongside Finance, to ensure maximum value for LEGO.
  • Best practices sharing in global category forums.
  • Supports other projects as needed within the Sales & Marketing procurement area (stretch projects).

Are you up for the challenge?

  • Expertise in media management, either in a procurement capacity, or advertiser media client, or media agency, or supplier side experience.
  • Proven strategic problem solver and contributor in the media and marketing area.
  • Advanced project and change management.
  • Negotiation experience, in a marketing supplier context.
  • Previous experience in working in global organizations with remote management.

Compensation

  • The salary for this position has a range of $130,000 - $180,000 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
