Job Summary & Responsibilities

As the Senior Business Analyst, you will build the reports, Power BI dashboards, and analyses that help improve performance across complex warehouse and eCommerce operations. Partnering with Operations, Continuous Improvement, Finance, IT, and Data Engineering, you will transform operational data into reliable visibility and actionable recommendations that improve productivity, labor efficiency, capacity utilization, service, and overall operational performance.

Work Location: Remote

Work Schedule: First Shift: Monday–Friday, with flexibility based on business and operational needs.

Work Travel: Periodic domestic site travel depending on the needs of the business and subject to change.

Competitive Compensation: Attractive annual salary of $92,000-$120,000, performance-based bonus, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, sick time, and company holidays. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.

This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own Power BI reports and dashboards from requirements gathering and data preparation through modeling, visualization, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

  • Build reusable reporting solutions that provide site-level visibility while supporting consistent reporting across assigned operations.

  • Develop DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and efficient semantic models while managing report refresh, access, navigation, drill-down capabilities, and performance within established IT standards.

  • Analyze operational performance across volume, inbound and outbound activity, labor hours, productivity, overtime, staffing coverage, backlog, quality, capacity, and service levels.

  • Investigate performance drivers and identify root causes by distinguishing true operational changes from data issues, activity-mix changes, or reporting inconsistencies.

  • Develop analyses of labor requirements, capacity constraints, productivity opportunities, and operational improvements, including quantifying potential benefits and trade-offs.

  • Partner with Operations and Finance to recommend actions and validate results following implementation.

  • Write and optimize SQL to combine, transform, and validate approved data from warehouse, labor, timekeeping, and other relevant systems.

  • Build reporting-ready datasets and coordinate upstream data requirements with IT and Data Engineering.

  • Establish and document consistent KPI definitions, source lineage, calculation logic, and reporting cutoffs.

  • Reconcile reporting to source systems and identify and resolve duplicate records, missing data, inconsistent mappings, and discrepancies in volume or labor-hour definitions before information is published.

  • Automate recurring reporting by replacing avoidable manual data extraction, spreadsheet manipulation, and report distribution with repeatable and maintainable workflows.

  • Implement refresh monitoring, validation checks, and exception handling to help users quickly identify stale, incomplete, or inaccurate information.

  • Maintain reporting documentation, testing, and change controls while continuously improving reports based on user feedback and business value.

  • Support reliable daily, weekly, and monthly operational reviews and retire redundant or low-value reporting when appropriate.

  • Translate questions from site and regional leaders into clear analytical requirements and prioritized reporting or analysis plans.

  • Develop a strong understanding of warehouse processes and validate analytical interpretations with the teams performing and managing the work.

  • Communicate findings, recommendations, risks, and limitations in clear language that both technical and non-technical audiences can understand and use.

  • Train report users, support internal and customer-facing business reviews as needed, and partner with Finance and IT to promote consistent metrics and avoid duplicate reporting solutions.
