About the Role
ResultStack is actively seeking a Senior BigCommerce Engineer to join our remote-first team. This role is ideal for a developer who has hands-on experience with the BigCommerce platform and thrives in fast-paced, client-facing environments. Bonus if you’ve previously worked for BigCommerce or have strong NodeJS experience as well.
As a Senior Engineer, you’ll build and customize eCommerce solutions for a range of clients, contributing to both front-end and back-end development efforts. Strong communication skills and U.S. work authorization are required, as you'll work closely with clients and internal team members.
What You’ll Do
Design and develop scalable BigCommerce solutions (custom themes, integrations, APIs)
Collaborate with clients and project managers to define and deliver technical solutions
Work across the full stack (front-end, APIs, back-end) when applicable
Implement custom functionality using BigCommerce’s stencil framework
Integrate third-party services and maintain high code quality and performance
Stay current with best practices around eCommerce architecture and development
Provide technical insight and leadership on BigCommerce implementations
What You Bring
Proven experience building and maintaining eCommerce websites on BigCommerce
Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and modern front-end frameworks
Experience with NodeJS or related server-side frameworks is a major plus
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party service integrations
Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
Excellent English communication skills for client interactions
U.S.-based with valid work authorization
Nice to Have
Prior experience working for BigCommerce or as a BigCommerce Partner
Familiarity with headless commerce or microservices-based architectures
Experience with Shopify or other eCommerce platforms

Full-time | Remote (U.S. only)
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation Range: $100K - $130K
