You are passionate about growing your skills and value high quality BE development on modern tech stack and cloud. You will be designing and implementing the next generation calendar infrastructure and  services.  We are embarking on a transition from Yahoo data centers  to Public cloud infrastructure. Work on a complete Java stack that serves hundreds of billions of transactions daily.  Develop and maintain REST web-services that power Yahoo clients,  Caldav protocol services, Caching and data processing services. Responsibilities: 

• Working on projects of diverse scope and complexity, design, build, implement, modify, test, debug and deploy software systems, large-scale infrastructure platforms and network services

• Responsible for performance, reliability, availability, scalability and security

• Collect requirements for product features from product team. come up with design specifications for the features and conduct formal and informal design reviews with the team

• Implement final design with low latency and stand alone technologies including tests

• Launch it for bucket (A/Bl testing for small percentage of the users and once the experiment is successful launch it widely for all our users.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field with a strong understanding of the fundamentals including Data Structures, Algorithms, OS, and Networking

• 6+ years experience in software development with Java and/or C++

• 3+ years experience in owning and designing components of large-scale systems Demonstrated problem-solving skills and taking initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing mail application

• Experience with AI, ML and GenAI

• Experience with cloud technologies like AWS/GCP

• Experience with SCRUM or similar agile development methodology

The compensation for this position ranges from $128,250.00 - $266,875.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
