About the Team

As a member of our diverse and skilled North America Solution Consulting team, you will have the opportunity to communicate and demonstrate the power of Workday's applications to prospects and customers alike. It is this team's job to bring the value of Workday solutions to life and showcase how the world of work can be transformed. Along with working closely with our sales counterparts, this team also sits at the exciting intersection of our Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, and Value Management teams, providing exposure to various areas of the business.
The Presales team is a strategic partner to the sales organization and responsible for building a compelling vision of the Workday solution for our customers and prospects in some of the largest customers in the world. We take our culture as a key foundation to the way we work together and how we hold each other accountable.

About the Role

At Workday, Digital Solution Consultants are responsible for partnering with the sales teams and delivering product demonstrations to business users in the office of the CHRO to highlight the value of Workday's platform as a true business decision making solution. Digital Solution Consulting focuses on add on opportunities across the North American Customer Base and into our Emerging Markets business.

HCM Team – About the role

In this role, you will improve your polished presentation abilities, collaborative SC experience, and HCM expertise to articulate and differentiate the value for and expand the adoption of Software as a Service (SaaS). 

Responsibilities include:

  • Our Solution Consulting teams are strategically partnered with the sales organization: responsible for building a compelling vision of the Workday (Human Capital Management) solution and differentiators as part of a value selling approach. 
  • You will be equipped to provide in-depth HCM product knowledge to the sales team and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Assist in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions while showcasing the value of our solution. 
  • Provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation
  • Assist with responding to prospect Request for Proposals on an as needed basis.
  • Ability to travel 30-50% of the time.

Digital Solution Consulting will equip you with skills such as: 

  • Domain expertise and experience in Human Capital Management, ERP implementations, etc.
  • Strong presentation skills -– including focused software demonstration techniques, sales messaging and storytelling. 
  • Industry experience with various internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on the Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO).
  • Problem solving skills to address prospect concerns and requirements and craft creative solutions. 
  • Value based selling (value led approach) in a SC / Sales Consulting environment.
  • Strong technical and industry knowledge to assist with solutioning and problem solving.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, working across various lines and business and partners to achieve positive customer outcomes, to become a trusted advisor and team player both internally and externally.  
Evisort Team – About the role

The Evisort solution provides groundbreaking AI technology that automatically analyzes contracts and other documents to extract key information and make them searchable, simplifying decision-making while helping to reduce costs and manage risk. We automate manual work, facilitate collaboration, and streamline operations so businesses can make better decisions with better data, accelerate deal making, and manage contracts with a fraction of the effort.

Responsibilities: 

  • Articulate the value of Workday's product suite, specifically focusing on Evisort, Workday Strategic Souring and Workday Procurement.
  • Assist in the closure of sales opportunities by demonstrating a complete understanding of and resolving questions regarding our solution, services, and training.
  • Contribute to the qualification of prospects, proposed demonstration criteria and sales cycle closure plans. 
  • Supporting all sales, marketing, technical and channel objectives.  
  • Participate in discovery sessions alongside sales to ask qualifying questions and understand pain points, current business processes, and ideal future state

About You

Basic Qualifications: Solution Consultant

  • 2+ years’ experience in procurement, legal or finance
  • 2+ years of work experience in Presales/Consulting/Technology/HCM experience with an enterprise business solutions
  • Understanding of Workday products a plus

Other Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of procurement OR legal, the challenges prospective customers face, and how Workday is uniquely positioned to support their needs
  • Creative thinker who can develop solutions to meet the broad needs of our partners in Solution Consultant
  • Ability to run multiple projects concurrently
  • Outstanding professional discovery, presentation, communication, and influencing skills to C-Level Executives.
  • Bachelor's Degree or other relevant work experience/military service


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $87,500 USD - $131,300 USD
