Job Responsibilities:
Provides financial planning and analyses. Monitors actual results of financial data against plans, forecasts and budgets. Gathers, organizes and documents relevant financial information. Determines trends and explains financial results. Prepares detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of management. Consolidates operating and financial projections for the development of short-term and long-term business plans.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or associated and 4-6 equivalent experience in accounting
- Minimum 5+ years general accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Preferred qualifications:
- Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerBI preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Operate standard office equipment preferred
- Experience with integrated financial/manufacturing software packages, SAP preferred
- Ability to manage departmental projects/programs to meet BGM needs
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities
- Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Good working knowledge of a standard cost system, preferably in the automotive industry
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
