Job Summary
Responsible for providing business performance analysis, reporting, and forecasting as an independent contributor. Also responsible for providing a variety of financial data and maintaining and updating financial models and plans. Reports financial analysis to senior management in support of functional business objectives, including special projects. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own responsibilities. Ability to determine own work priorities as well as act as a resource for colleagues.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
  • Understand, analyze, and plan operating expenses in support of monthly forecasts, annual budgets and long-range plans.
  • Lead analysis of digital inventory acquisition costs to support expense planning.
  • Conduct analysis and provide insights into ad inventory (impressions) price, volume and utilization to support strategic decision making.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and variance analyses to senior management, enabling informed decision-making. This role has high visibility and exposure to senior leadership.
  • Conduct forecast accuracy reviews, explain variances against planned objectives, and implement improvements to enhance forecasting precision.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across Comcast Advertising to ensure alignment between forecast assumptions and business realities.
  • Consistently deliver clear, concise and accurate financial reports to senior leadership.
  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of financial policies, procedures, and reporting tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required Skills
  • Financial Modeling - Able to build dynamic models, analyze cost structures and forecast/budget variance drivers, and perform sensitivity analysis.
  • Data Analysis & Visualization - Able to interpret complex data, conduct rate/volume and variance analysis, and present insights through clear executive reporting.
  • Accounting & Finance Fundamentals - Able to understand GAAP principles, P&L, and balance sheet relationships.
  • Strategic Communication & Collaboration - Able to convey complex financial concepts to senior leaders, collaborate cross-functionally, and influence decision-making.
  • Detail Orientation & Time Management - Able to deliver high quality work while independently managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
