Essential job functions:
- Designs business processes to enhance business outcomes through creating documentation, standard practices, training, and communications that are easily implemented by retail pharmacy management in the deployment of new, or adjustment of current, processes or programs.
- Analyzes the effectiveness of existing business processes across all ADUSA Brands to identify best practice opportunities and develops sustainable, scalable and quantifiable improvements to improve productivity, customer experience or customer offerings.
- Collaborates in external analyses of the retail pharmacy marketplace to identify program, process, or technology opportunities to increase operational efficiency, reengineer workflow, improve customer satisfaction, or introduce new customer services.
- Maintains expert-level knowledge of the Rx operating environment in each ADUSA Brand, including software applications, communication processes, training process, clinical programs, and standard practices.
- Recommends evaluation criteria/standards to evaluate process or program performance. Creates management summaries demonstrating the return of improvement recommendations and initiatives.
- Collaborates internally and externally with various groups (ADUSA Brand Pharmacy Operations, ADUSA Legal & Compliance Departments, ADUSA Dieticians, 3rd Party Vendors, etc.) to understand customer preferences/needs, individual ADUSA Brand Rx strategies, emerging technology, or upcoming regulatory requirements.
- Assists ADUSA Brand Rx Operations Teams in regular review to identify optimization or simplification opportunities in standard practices, training, or communications as assigned.
- Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis until the end of their appointment
- PharmD or BS degree in pharmacy
- 3+ years of active practice as a licensed pharmacist in a retail pharmacy setting
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for business purposes.
- Integrate and collaborate within a matrix-like organization.
- Proven ability to work in both the virtual and in-person environments across multiple campuses.
- Process/Workflow mapping- Including the ability to write documentation that allows the end user to understand both a technical/systems and business process.
- Proven ability to think analytically, apply analytical techniques and provide in-depth analysis of processes.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in presentation/communication with senior leadership audiences.
- Intermediate/High level proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Financial ROI development and measurement of program or process proposals including proven ability to interpret financial measures associated with process improvement, cost modeling and forecasting.
Preferred Quaifications:
- MBA Degree
- 3+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacy District Manager
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, DMAIC Green Belt and/or Lean Leader Expert with practical experience in all relevant Lean and Six-Sigma tools and methods
