About Us:

Grow was born to tackle a critical challenge: making mental health care more effective and accessible for everyone. Since launching in 2020, 15 million sessions have started on Grow, and we've barely scratched the surface. We do it through a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Every solution we build reveals ten more waiting to be delivered, and that's just what gets us going. We've backed that ambition with more than $328M in funding, including our Series D at a $3B valuation from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, Menlo Ventures, Goldman Sachs Alternatives, and others.

At Grow, the work you do can literally change someone's life. Your work here doesn't stay on a screen; it impacts whether someone can find, afford, and access quality care. That ambition sets us apart, and offers you an endless runway to impact one of the world's most urgent issues. We don’t have passenger seats here. Everyone is driving something that matters.

This work deserves real commitment. So if you thrive on meeting problems head on, untangling serious complexity, and working at pace with the sharpest yet kindest people around, you've come to the right place.

About The Role

The Contract Management & Implementation (CM&I) team oversees the operational aspects of Grow's payor contracts, helping ensure that contract terms are accurately interpreted, documented, and implemented throughout our revenue cycle. As our Specialist III, you'll review contract language in support of new payor launches — documenting key terms and flagging ambiguous or risky language early, before it can become a downstream billing issue. You'll also help build our team’s contract repository into an organized, searchable resource for the teams that rely on it.

Along the way, you'll work closely with our payor partnerships, payor launch, and revenue cycle teams, developing valuable expertise in payor contracting with room to grow. As a Specialist III, your responsibilities may evolve as we scale.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and interpreting payor contracts, amendments, and policies ahead of new payor launches — documenting key terms and escalating ambiguous or risky language with clear context and recommended next steps.

  • Serving as a go-to resource for contract-related questions, delivering the accurate documentation that our billing, eligibility, and payor launch teams run on.

  • Helping to build and operationalize a contract repository and AI payor intelligence tooling: organizing and migrating contract documentation, defining key terms, and validating AI search accuracy.

  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve flagged risks and close information gaps with payor partners.

  • Analyzing reimbursement methodologies and support financial accuracy through precise upstream contract review.

  • Surfacing process improvement ideas as we modernize how a fast-scaling company manages a growing contract portfolio.

You’d be a great fit if you're...

  • Detail-obsessed: Precise in documentation and quality-focused — you know a single misread term can have real revenue consequences, and you sweat the small stuff accordingly.

  • A nuanced reader: You recognize when contract language is ambiguous, risky, or carries downstream implications, and you escalate with clear context instead of taking terms at face value.

  • Contract-experienced: Hands-on familiarity with payor contracts, amendments, provider manuals, or payor policies — you know how to effectively source and navigate these documents to extract what matters. Behavioral health payor experience is a plus.

  • A clear communicator: Strong written and verbal communication; you convey complex contract information precisely to cross-functional partners.

  • A proactive self-starter: You surface problems and process opportunities without being told, stay comfortable in ambiguity, and are excited by growth opportunities.

  • Bonus — revenue cycle fluent: You understand how terms like timely filing windows, reimbursement language, and claim routing drive billing and collections outcomes.

Employment Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Base Compensation: The hourly compensation rate for this position is:

Fully Remote Commitment: $28.84
