Specialist, Government Pricing

KBR is making meaningful investments in the Pricing Team that supports our Government Solutions business.  The company recognizes a strong Pricing Team is an important partner to business development, capture and operations leaders tasked with increasing company revenue.  Are you a Pricing Professional who wants to have a voice in the capture and proposal process? If so, KBR is looking for Pricers who can provide analysis and recommendations that promote more informed decision making and translate into more contract wins. Position is eligible for remote or telework.

Leads and/ or manages cost proposals generally valued up to $30M.

Applies a broad knowledge of general accounting, cost accounting and financial analysis techniques for a variety of the complex financial and general business problems.

Experience in development of government price proposal.

Understanding various contract types and associated financial and performance risks.
Develops pricing strategies.
Develops and presents price assumptions, financial summaries, cash flow analysis and risk assessment to senior leadership prior to proposal submission.
Prepares special reports and analysis as required.
Provides strategic focus to all proposal efforts

Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents.
Provides work leadership/technical guidance to Junior pricing analysts.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Travel may be required.

Experience and Education:

Comprehensive technical and functional knowledge of direct government pricing practices, regulations and procedures. Advanced business knowledge. Comprehensive organizational, written, and oral communication skills. Strong analytical skills and business acumen to make sound management decisions/recommendations. Ability to work in a team environment.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field and 2 years related experience with 1 year of direct government pricing experience.

Basic Compensation:

$69,510 - $104,265

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
