Primary Purpose

This role will have high exposure to the most senior leaders in our organization, and will play an essential role in enabling these forums and events to run smoothly, professionally, and with all resources that are needed for efficient decision making.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, and Hyattsville, MD.

- Supports the planning and onsite execution of industry events, including (but not limited to): FMI Midwinter Conference, Consumer Goods Forum, ADUSA Supplier Summit.
- Supports the planning for a number of internal events, including (but not limited to): EBR, SVB, team offsite, VP+ meeting, and more.
- Planning responsibilities may include multiple aspects of the event planning for a particular event(s), or acting in a project management capacity to lead the planning of an event when the planning tasks are shared across departments.
- Provides administrative support for executive leadership forums, including (but not limited to): Advisory Forum, monthly USLT meetings, SVB material preparation, ExCo member visits to the U.S.
- Supports the creation and maintenance of US Corporate Calendar.
- Special projects at the request of the Head of Strategy.
- Establish and maintain an efficient system for documenting and managing governance-related materials specific to the Corporate Governance team.
- Ensure accessibility and accuracy of all governance-related records within the team.
- Contribute to continuously improving the company's governance framework by researching best practices, implementing industry standards, and proactively identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness within the strategy domain.
- Collaboration with other stakeholders to inform and enable smooth planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related field; MBA a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in strategic planning, event planning, or related field
- Experience planning and executing events.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels, all the way up to the executive leadership team.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of the needs onsite at events and a willingness to jump in to support those needs.
- Good judgement when dealing with stakeholders.
- Delivery of professional, polished, thorough, and complete executive materials for various forums.
