Role Overview

This is a contract role supporting events season, 40 hours per week, anticipated to go through October 2026.

Housecall Pro runs a nationwide series of local, Pro-hosted community events across the country. This full-time contract role supports the Pros hosting these events, focusing on relationship management, onboarding, and proactive partner support rather than overall corporate event planning. Role is in immediate start through approximately Mid-October, exact date to be determined. Local to Denver or New York is a plus.
You are the main point of contact for Pros throughout the process—from initial outreach through event day and wrap-up—helping keep host relationships strong, details organized, and logistics on track across dozens of local markets at once.
Our team is passionate, empathetic, hard working, and above all else focused on improving the lives of our service professionals (our Pros). Our success is their success.

What you do each day:

  • Coordinate event logistics for host locations, including scheduling, onboarding new hosts, and event-day setup and support
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event hosts, keeping them informed, engaged, and set up for success
  • Maintain accurate event plans, timelines, and status tracking across all active hosts
  • Run regular check-ins with hosts to monitor progress, answer questions, and provide the support they need
  • Identify hosts who need extra attention and escalate to the appropriate internal team when needed
  • Coordinate incentive, funding, or resource logistics tied to host participation
  • Provide live, on-the-day support for hosts during their events
  • Support post-event wrap-up, including reporting, follow-up communications, and gathering feedback

Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer success, account management, event coordination, or partner/community support, ideally in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience using AI tools to increase quality and efficiency of work
  • Comfortable managing a large number of concurrent relationships without letting details slip
  • Strong phone and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly with small business owners
  • Detail-oriented, with experience using a CRM or tracking system to manage statuses and reporting (i.e. Salesforce, HubSpot...)
  • Experience with event registration or CRM platforms
  • Comfortable working to firm event-related deadlines, with availability for live, day-of support
  • Self-directed and effective working fully remote with minimal day-to-day oversight
  • High school diploma, bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

What will help you succeed:

  • A natural curiosity backed by action; you are multidimensional (volunteering, creative outlets, side projects, hobbies, athletics)
  • A proactive, relationship-first mindset: you follow up before someone has to ask, and people feel taken care of after talking to you
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-moving pace where priorities and details will shift as the program evolves
  • Strong organizational instincts to hold dozens of relationships and timelines in your head and tracker without anything falling through the cracks
  • A calm, solutions-oriented approach under pressure, especially as event day gets closer and issues need quick resolution
  • Genuine curiosity about the people you are supporting and the ability to relate to and build trust with small business owners
  • A team-first attitude with a willingness to flag problems early, ask for help, and collaborate with other internal teams rather than solve everything solo

Location Dependent Information

This role is open to candidates and the expected hourly range for this role is $21.25/hr-$25/hr. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits. Housecall Pro is growing fast and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
