Description
Engrain builds map-based tech that's redefining how real estate works. Our interactive, unit-level maps and powerful data integrations help over 1,000 companies-and 20,000 properties-to make smarter decisions, streamline leasing, and deliver better renter experiences. From prospect to renewal, our products give properties a spatial brain and a visual edge when it comes to property marketing and management. And it's working: our churn rate is just 5%, and we've been putting up double-digit growth numbers every year.
We're not your typical proptech company. We move fast, we stay curious, and we don't do stale or corporate fluff. Backed by successful Seed and Series A rounds-with a fresh raise on the horizon-we're entering a phase of serious scale.
The product team is currently developing new pathfinding features for Engrain's interactive property maps that enable functionality like routing, distance calculations, and the integration of unit attributes and metadata.
As a Spatial Data Production Assistant, you will support this effort by executing high-volume, detail-critical spatial data production work-manual plotting, tagging, validation, and quality assurance-across paid map deliverables. You will work within the Product Experience team and collaborate closely with Product Management, Product Innovation, and Engineering to ensure accuracy, consistency, and throughput as standards and tooling evolve.
What you'll do...
  • Independently execute manual plotting and pathfinding implementation work, ensuring accuracy and adherence to developing Product standards
  • Plot, tag, and validate nodes and ways on digital maps to support Engrain's pathfinding features
  • Perform quality assurance checks on completed work, identifying errors, inconsistencies, and edge cases and flagging them for follow-up
  • Review survey footage, architectural files, and other source materials to ensure implementation accuracy
  • Perform quality assurance work while working on active projects with developing applications and workflows, communicating with Product Management and Product Innovation in an agile and concise manner
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Product Operations to resolve issues and clarify requirements

Who you are...
  • Confident working independently while communicating with a larger team
  • Precise, efficient, and comfortable in developing systems and standards
  • Eager to identify log-jams and improvements to workflows and systems
  • Exceptionally detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy

What you offer us...
  • A recent college graduate or possess a GED
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a major plus
  • Experience with JSON, APIs, or Python is preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently and with urgency while maintaining focus on detail-oriented, repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to follow instructions, primarily work independently, and assess the scope of work and effort required
  • Al literacy & proficiency: Comfortability using Generative Al (LLMs), Al assistants, and automation platforms to enhance personal and team productivity
  • Comfortable with supervised utilization of Al-generated outputs, with utilization of AI to ensure accuracy and perform QA on produced work
  • Adaptable to changing task requirements while using evolving software features during the application's development and testing phases - some assignments may not have a standard operating procedure
  • At home in an agile and high growth environment.

What we offer you...
  • Salary Disclosure for Colorado: hourly rate of $22.00 - $24.00. Final offer amount is determined by factors including years and depth of candidate's experience, certifications, and skill set alignment to the job requirements
  • 100% coverage of employee's health, dental and vision insurance with basic plan
  • Up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Up to 18 days annually of PTO & 10 holidays per year
  • Dog-friendly office
  • 401(k) match up to 4 percent
  • Annual stipend for personal growth through our Grow475 program
  • On-site amenities including a professional fitness center, flexible & modern workspace, coffee bar, happy hour taps & team member lounge
