Labcorp is looking for a forward-thinking Solutions Manager, HR Technology with deep expertise in Workday Recruiting and Talent Management and Performance to lead critical enhancements and automation across our HR systems.

As our Workday SME, you’ll drive innovation and efficiency by designing and delivering high-impact solutions that empower our HR, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management teams. You’ll play a pivotal role in aligning our Workday configuration with Labcorp’s People Strategy—transforming ideas into seamless experiences for managers, employees, and candidates alike.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary authority for Workday configuration within Recruiting & Talent and Performance, leveraging deep knowledge of HR processes to define and shape business process architecture.

  • Lead the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of new Workday features and enhancements across Recruiting and Talent modules.

  • Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management leaders to refine system workflows, reporting, dashboards, and analytics aligned with talent strategies.

  • Integrate and optimize AI-driven talent acquisition tools (e.g., HiredScore, Paradox, EightFold, Gloat, etc.) to enhance automation and decision-making.

  • Drive Workday configuration governance, release management, and roadmap alignment with evolving business needs.

  • Facilitate requirements gathering and solution design discussions with key stakeholders across HR, TA, and Leadership teams.

  • Lead and support system-related initiatives including new functionality rollouts, configuration updates, and cross-platform integrations.

  • Ensure alignment between Workday and other business systems through scalable, sustainable, and user-centric solutions.

  • Troubleshoot complex system issues, manage defect resolution, maintain system structure and reference data, and support cyclical processes and ad hoc reporting.

  • Maintain documentation of configurations, technical specifications, and system architecture to ensure knowledge continuity and audit readiness.

  • Collaborate on the creation and review of training and communication materials to ensure user enablement and adoption.

  • Uphold compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CPRA), enforce SOX controls, and champion best practices in security and data governance.

  • Promote continuous improvement and user feedback loops to drive system efficiency, user satisfaction, and strategic impact.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a business-related field or equivalent HRIS / CompSci experience

  • 3+ years executing functional configuration in Workday (Recruiting, HCM, and Talent & Performance) or a combination of two of the three

  • Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition AI tools and other talent-related HR technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday PRO certification preferred

Skills and Competencies:

  • Hands-on Workday experience developing and supporting end-to-end configuration across multiple functions: Primary = Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HCM Core, Talent Acquisition AI tools.

  • Experience in all phases of the technology implementation lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, build, testing, and launch)

  • Experience in leading a design session, reviewing, and assisting in the creation of project deliverables

  • Have a delivery-focused mindset, high energy and drive and the ability to achieve results through others

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills - able to translate between technical and business groups, bring forward a vision or opinion

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy with ability to design and develop solutions to meet business needs creatively

  • Comfort with leading multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize decisions and tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay Range: $83,265 - $135,442/yr

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.  

LBP Eligible Position:

The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.  Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.  For more detailed information, please click here
