As a SE Manager for Cloudflare Commercial / Mid-Market, you will be responsible for managing a cross functional, full sales life cycle and technical activities for Cloudflare customers. The role requires someone with strong leadership, interpersonal, and business acumen to work with Sales to grow our account base. The SE Manager will manage a team of SEs that are geographically distributed within the US and Canada from Toronto, Austin, and San Francisco, California. The SE team partners with the Commercial and Mid-Market Sales teams that are also geographically distributed in the US and Canada, as well as Customer Success and is responsible for providing the value of Cloudflare products to customers and prospects

Requirements
  • 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or another related field or its equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience with internet technologies / protocols and / or cloud technologies
  • Minimum 1 year of team lead/team management experience
  • Experience managing opportunity sales cycles and identifying technical proof activities
  • Demonstrated operations and organization skills implementation and driving best practices with cross functional organizations.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a proven track record of successfully building collaboration around important initiatives.
  • Successful track record of working and influencing matrixed organizations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present technical and business related subjects to all audiences.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, drive for results, interpersonal savvy, and customer focus.

Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
  • For Austin based hires: Estimated annual salary of $203,000 - $249,000.
  • For New York City and Washington D.C.and Seattle based hires: Estimated annual salary of $207,000 - $253,000.

Equity
This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare's equity plan.
