About the role
As we rapidly scale in the U.S., we’re looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our growing team and help shape the future of clean energy.
In this role, you will own the technical onboarding and data integration of utility customers onto the Intelligent Grid Platform. You will design, configure, and maintain robust data pipelines to ensure customer data is accurately and reliably integrated into our systems. Working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams, you will deliver high-quality, data-driven solutions while continuously bringing customer insights back into product development.
📌 Location: Hybrid - Boston, MA preferred or Remote (Eastern Time Zone).
✈️ Travel: Travel to conferences, customer meetings, and the Boston office required

What you’ll do
- Own customer technical onboarding end-to-end, serving as the primary technical point of contact from data ingestion through go-live.
- Design, implement, document, and validate scalable data integration pipelines that ensure accurate, reliable data flows into the Intelligent Grid Platform.
- Lead communication and workshops with utility customers to understand data landscapes, source systems, and grid models and translate into clear requirements and mapping.
- Configure and optimize the Intelligent Grid Platform using utility data to support real-world grid planning and DER use cases.
- Enable successful deployments and fast time to value by guiding customers on IGP capabilities, workflows, and best practices.
- Continuously improve onboarding and implementation processes by driving standardization, efficiency, and scalability.
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, translating needs, feedback, and industry trends into actionable product, engineering, and go-to-market inputs.
- Support customer operations and go-to-market efforts such as demos, technical presentations, RFP responses, and occasional industry event participation.
What you’ll bring to the team:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions engineering, implementations, or software onboarding, ideally in a SaaS environment.
- Strong experience designing and implementing data pipelines, with solid ETL knowledge and an understanding of scalable integration patterns.
- Proficiency using Python and/or SQL is a plus.
- A structured, data-driven, and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to clearly navigate complex technical topics.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with power systems, network modeling and utility applications such as GIS is a strong plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, industry events, and team collaboration.
