At IMO Health, we help healthcare organizations unlock the power of their data. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you’ll partner with our sales team to uncover client needs and translate them into tailored technical solutions. You’ll lead discovery sessions, create impactful demos and proof of concepts, and guide prospects through technical evaluations while serving as a trusted advisor. You’ll also build and maintain reusable demo assets that showcase our APIs and technology across areas like data normalization, responsible AI, agentic workflows, and data integration. Collaboration with sales, product, engineering, and clinical experts is key to ensuring every solution is impactful, practical, and aligned with industry best practices.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand requirements, define success criteria, and determine solution fit.
- Design and deliver customized demonstrations and proof-of-concept solutions that showcase IMO’s value in areas such as data normalization, discovery, responsible AI (including RAG), and data-lake integration.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor by answering questions, mapping product capabilities to use cases, and addressing technical objections.
- Travel to customer sites and industry conferences as needed to conduct discovery sessions, present demos, and represent IMO Health’s technical expertise.
- Contribute to RFIs, RFPs, proposals, architectural designs, and level-of-effort estimates during the pre-sales process.
- Partner with Account Executives to progress opportunities and ensure smooth transitions to implementation and customer success teams.
- Build and maintain reusable notebooks, demos, and repositories that leverage IMO APIs for data setup, enrichment, and processing; provide clear runbooks and troubleshooting guides for field teams.
- Collaborate with clinical experts to ensure demo content reflects real-world scenarios and healthcare standards.
- Provide structured product feedback from the field to help prioritize enhancements with product and engineering.
- Track demo feedback and win/loss insights to refine solution accelerators and inform the product roadmap.
- Develop enablement resources such as how-tos, demo scripts, and presentation decks, and coach sales staff on discovery and demo best practices
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
- 3–6 years in pre-sales/solutions engineering or similar technical customer-facing roles (SaaS/healthtech preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Python, APIs, and data tooling (e.g., Jupyter, Pandas); ability to deploy demos/POCs in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences and manage objections in real time.
- Strong problem‑solving, organization, and ownership in fast‑moving sales cycles.
- Experience with RAG/LLM integrations and responsible‑AI validation workflows.
- Proven success delivering engaging technical presentations and live demonstrations.
- Knowledge of responsible AI practices and validation workflows, particularly in healthcare.
PREFERRED:

- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML models in healthcare environments.
- Cloud/architecture certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect).
- Familiarity with IMO products or similar healthcare ontology/normalization platforms.
- Working knowledge of healthcare standards and interoperability (SNOMED, LOINC, FHIR, HL7) and integration with EHRs, data lakes, and AI/ML workflows.
- Expertise in API integration with EHRs, data lakes, or clinical analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of security and compliance frameworks such as HIPAA and HITRUST.
- Experience developing and deploying APIs with cloud-native tools and CI/CD pipelines on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
