Why This Role Matters
Our success hinges on seamlessly connecting Brilliant’s platform with client systems—CRMs, HRIS, marketing stacks, storefronts, learning platforms—to automate gifting triggers like welcome campaigns, milestone acknowledgments, and event swag distribution. The Solutions Architect is the strategic and technical linchpin: architecting integrations, building automations, ensuring data accuracy, and enabling frictionless, personalized gifting experiences.
What You’ll Do
↔️ Software Integration
- Engage with clients to uncover system architecture and gifting use cases.
- Design and implement robust integrations via APIs, webhooks, and custom scripts, connecting to Salesforce, HubSpot, Workday, Marketo, Shopify, and more.
🔁 Automation Expertise
- Build and optimize automated workflows using tools like Tray.io, Zapier, and custom scripting to trigger gifts based on events (e.g., hires, milestones, celebrations).
- Maintain, monitor, and improve efficiency across automated processes.
📄 Technical Documentation
- Produce clear documentation for each integration: flow diagrams, field mappings, setup instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
- Maintain living technical guides for both clients and internal teams.
🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales to scope solutions and support RFPs with technical insights.
- Work with Customer Success and Product to ensure smooth deployments and capture feedback for enhancements.
- Support internal teams during technical conversations in pre- and post-sales stages.
✅ Quality Assurance & Support
- Validate solution integrity through testing—data accuracy, performance, edge cases.
- Proactively monitor integration health and swiftly address issues.
What You Bring
- 3+ years in software engineering, solutions architecture, or technical operations
- Proficient in JavaScript or Ruby (API integrations, scripting)
- Experienced with Tray.io, Zapier, or equivalent automation platforms
- Strong SQL skills for querying and data validation
- Excellent communication: able to distill tech concepts for both engineers and business users
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical documentation
- Passionate about systems-thinking, operational efficiency, and delivering measurable client value
