We are looking for a Solution Architect to bridge the gap between our public API, our data, and our customers' Martech stacks. as well as possess the expertise to work with their existing code and data. In this role, you'll work closely with sales, prospects, third-party developers, and Systems Integrators (SIs) to design and prototype solutions that unlock the full potential of our platform within their ecosystems. Additionally, you will occasionally assist as a Sales Engineer, providing technical expertise during the sales cycle.
About the RoleAs a Solution Architect, you will play a crucial role in assisting new sales deals by helping prospects integrate our product into their Martech stack. You will guide prospects and third-party development teams in leveraging our public API to build seamless workflows, automate processes, and drive value from day one.
You will partner with the sales team to remove technical barriers, design API-based integrations, and showcase innovative ways to connect our platform with Martech tools, MAPs, BI tools, Personalization tools and other marketing platforms. Additionally, you will work with Systems Integrators (SIs), digital agencies, and third-party developers to facilitate large-scale implementations. Furthermore, you will provide valuable insights from your customer interactions to contribute to the Roadmapping process with Product Management and Engineering.
Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Technical Consultation- Partner with Account Executives to engage with prospects and their technical teams, Campaign developers, third-party developers, or Systems Integrators (SIs).
- Assess their Martech stack and propose integration strategies using our public API and custom components.
- Conduct API walkthroughs and technical deep dives to showcase how our platform fits into their ecosystem.
- Translate business use cases into API-based workflows that automate and optimize marketing processes.
- Occasionally, assist as a Sales Engineer during sales cycles
- Design custom API solutions that enable seamless data flow between our platform and third-party Martech tools.
- Work closely with third-party development teams, Systems Integrators (SIs), and digital agencies to ensure smooth implementation.
- Assist prospects' internal and external development teams in architecting and implementing API-based integrations.
- Recommend best practices for security, scalability, and performance of API implementations.
- Build strong relationships with Systems Integrators, digital agencies, and consulting firms that help prospects and customers implement their Martech stack.
- Provide enablement sessions and technical workshops for third-party developers working with our API.
- Assist in evaluating and onboarding integration partners to expand our platform’s reach.
- Work with Customer Success to hand off integration projects to third-party developers when needed.
- Develop integration guides, SDKs, and best practices to help external teams build on our platform effectively.
- Provide technical guidance to new customers during onboarding to ensure smooth integration.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve API usability based on customer and partner feedback and make Roadmap requests.
- Contribute to API documentation, sample code, and developer guides to enhance self-service adoption.
- Train internal teams (sales, customer success) on API capabilities and integration strategies.
- Identify emerging integration trends and propose new use cases for our API.
- Explore opportunities to create pre-built connectors, SDKs, or automation templates for common Martech integrations.
- Work with Product Management and Engineering to inject their observations and point of view into the Roadmapping process.
- Represent [Your Company] at industry events, webinars, and customer workshops as an API expert.
- 3-5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Pre-Sales Engineering, or API Integration roles.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, OAuth authentication, and data integrations.
- Experience working with third-party developers, Systems Integrators (SIs), or implementation partners.
- Familiarity with Martech tools such as Marketo, SFMC, Pardot, Braze, Iterable, HubSpot, Oracle Responsys, Adobe Campaign, etc.
- Ability to write and debug API calls (Postman, cURL, Python, JavaScript, or similar tools).
- Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a consultative approach.
- Experience with low-code/no-code automation tools (Zapier, Workato, Tray.io).
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and data pipeline integrations.
- Knowledge of data security, compliance (GDPR, CCPA), and API rate-limiting best practices.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, Martech ecosystems, and partner ecosystems.
