How you’ll make an impact:
You'll have the opportunity to join us as a Senior Solutions Engineer in our Financial Institutions space. Do you have a background in Enterprise Software Pre-Sales or Implementation Consulting? As a member of the Sales organization, you will be the primary technical resource for the sales team. Senior Solutions Engineers are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team, industry solution leaders, marketing and others. You will be the key product advocate for Strata’s exciting portfolio of performance management solutions.
In this role, the Senior Solutions Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users in the context of a solution demonstration. They must combine technical knowledge with financial expertise in a manner that creates credibility and demonstrates value to customers. Effective Senior Solutions Engineers listen closely to customer requirements; they can translate business needs into demonstrable capabilities within the application. They can quickly modify the solution to align with customer requirements. This role requires a strong working knowledge of such processes as Budgeting, Driver-Based Financial Planning, Relationship Profitability and Pricing and Funds Transfer Pricing.
A day in the Life:
- Effectively present the Financial Institutions solutions to audiences large and small at all levels of the organization
- Represent Strata at conferences and seminars, including conducting software demonstrations
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Collaborate with the Industry VP to develop new demonstration content focused on potential product offerings
- Convey customer requirements to development teams
- Travel throughout the United States (approximately 2-3 trips per quarter, each of 1 to 2 nights duration)
- Tailor the solution to align with customer requirements
- Create visually appealing and intuitive dashboards
What we’re looking for:
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience preferred in vendor pre-sales or sales
- Experience in a consulting or project management role, implementing Axiom’s Financial Institution solution
- In-depth knowledge of Financial Institutions' performance management and business intelligence topics
- Outstanding presentation skills
- Strong Excel skills, knowledge of relational databases is a plus
- Strong data visualization skills
- High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, passionate about being part of a growing business
Estimated Salary Range: $90,000-120,000
Actual salary will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skill set and level of experience. This salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Strata also provides discretionary variable pay programs based on role. In addition, Strata provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits, health and welfare benefits, paid time off, parental leave, life and accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits.
