Job Description

As a Solution Consultant - Networks & Cybersecurity you will support sales at key customer pursuits by providing specific solution expertise in a defined geographical area. You have deep application, industry, product, technology or solution knowledge within one or more assigned areas

You will report to the Regional Manager, Enterprise Software Solution Consultants and work in a hybrid environment from one of our Rockwell Automation office locations.

Depending on your location, this role can also be worked remotely from any location in the United States.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in account planning and sales strategy focusing on new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion.
  2. Advise Technology Consultants and sales team on proposal generation.
  3. Analyze our competition's products and define our differentiators, as part of a specific solution.
  4. Configure a complex product and services solution, and associated contractual terms, that meet the customer's mid- to long-term needs.
  5. Use your domain expertise as as resource for internal partners and to advise customers on our products, solutions and services.
  6. Develop and implement a relationship management plan for potential customer accounts.
  7. Build a network of executives within the business sector to obtain market intelligence on industry trends and identify opportunities for expansion.

The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivelant Years of Relevant Work Experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visa, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Typically requires minimum of 5 years of experience in a Solution Consulting position.
  • 5+ years of experience consulting within cybersecurity products.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in Verve or Secure OT Platform.
  • Certifications including CISSP, CCSP, Security+, Fortinet, or other cybersecurity focused certifications.
  • Familiarity with outcome-based selling.
  • Knowledge of industry strategies within the industrial automation space.

This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.

For this role, the Total Target Compensation is from $141,600- $212,400 of which80% is base salary and 20% is variable. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
