Job Description
The Software Test Engineer develops, documents, executes, and maintains system software verification tests, and associates tracing to support the development of OnPoint products in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyzes system and software requirements
- Create detailed, comprehensive, well- structured test cases for verifying requirements.
- Execute functional, integration, system, ad hoc and regression tests following Agile development process
- Validate software development tools
- Participates in all aspects of the software development life cycle including maintaining test protocols and requirement tracing.
- Follows standard operating procedures and software test engineering best practices
- Collaborates with team members and contributes to positive environment that creates high quality solutions
- Familiarity with Scrum Agile, bug tracking, code repository, and requirements tracing.
Experience and Qualifications:
- BS degree or equivalent in Engineering or related science or mathematics discipline
- 1-3 years of software testing or development experience on a product development team
- Experience testing medical device software is a plus
- Knowledge of an advanced programming language (e.g., C++, C, Java, Python) is a plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and great attention to detail
- Team player thriving in and closely collaborating with cross-functional development teams
- The position is based in Concord, MA
