Job Title: Software Test Engineer with Python
Location: Cambridge, MA
Duration: Long Term
Responsibilities: Member of software development scrum team focused on functional and integration test development.
Responsibility includes:
- Fully automated test development which verifies required functionality, exception/corner case handling, performance, logging and alerting.
- Development of mock stubs which can mimic functionality of peripheral software components including simulation of abnormal behavior.
- Enhance continuous/deployment automation framework.
- Develop monitoring and reporting functionality.
- Drive design for testability requirements.
Required Experience: Greater than 3 years, hands on experience in each of the following areas:
- Developing multi-threaded test frameworks and functional test to verify software applications.
- 2-5 Yrs of experience on Python is must.
- Analyzing software designs to develop comprehensive test plans which include positive and negative testing.
- 3rd Party code coverage and complexity analysis software products.
- Continuous integration and deployment using tools like Jenkins
- Agile development
Bachelors Degree is must
