Job Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.
DISH Business has experienced significant growth in the commercial market over the past few years and expects to continue growing, particularly with Hotels and Senior living. While exciting as we push new technologies, this adds complexity and challenges to our business. A QA Engineer will be a key member of the DISH Business Product QA Team, focusing on automated testing for Android, video, and API systems. Familiarity with basic testing concepts and a strong desire for continuous learning through diligent testing are essential. The role involves understanding product and system functionalities within a fast-paced environment to develop test cases and ensure quality feature releases for these growing platforms.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular manual and automated feature and regression testing to ensure product stability
• Build and enhance test plans, including detailed Salesforce-specific feature test plans
• Conduct robust regression testing prior to packaging and continuously refine the Regression Test Suite after each release
• Collaborate closely with developers to promote a quality-first mindset and provide actionable feedback
• Gain deep business knowledge to validate deliverables and ensure alignment with customer needs
• Demonstrate strong initiative, attention to detail, and the judgment to seek clarification when needed

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education & Experience:

• College degree or 5+ years relevant work experience (e.g. QA/Testing experience, Linux administration, test automation)
• Experienced with API testing
• Certifications in any testing tools and methodologies

Skills and Qualifications:

• Background in software testing with hands-on experience as a QA Engineer
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and QA best practices
• Skilled in developing and executing detailed test plans and technical documentation
• Experienced in building and automating test cases, including for Salesforce environments
• Systems- and tools-oriented mindset with awareness of the full build and release lifecycle
• Proven collaborator with the ability to work closely and effectively within cross-functional teams

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year
