Software Quality Assurance Manager

At the Tubize site

In Tubize, you will join more than 150 colleagues specialized in the design, development, and production of aerospace equipment, including landing gear systems and other critical components for aircraft; as well as cybersecurity and crypto.  Thales Tubize is part of Thales Group.

Your mission

Quality Assurance

  • Develop and maintain quality assurance processes for cryptographic systems and cybersecurity measures.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Implement and manage quality control procedures to identify and mitigate risks.

Compliance and Regulation

  • Ensure that all cryptographic and cybersecurity practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory bodies as required.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all quality assurance processes, risk assessments, and compliance activities.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status of cryptographic and cybersecurity measures.

Training and Awareness:

  • Provide training and awareness programs for employees on cryptographic and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Foster a culture of security awareness within the organization.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and operations, to ensure the integration of quality assurance and security measures.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as vendors and partners, to ensure compliance and security.

About you

  • Engineering Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Quality methods and tools. (min 5 years of experience)
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity, cryptography, and quality assurance (min 5 years of experience)
  • Proficiency in two languages : French and English.

Ability to analyze complex data and identify potential risks and vulnerabilities

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and implement effective solutions

Communication & Collaboration

Clear documentation of test cases, non-conformities, and reports

Effective communication with team members

Agile/Scrum team collaboration

Good reporting skills

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, cybersecurity protocols, and risk management frameworks.

Curiosity and willingness to learn

Patience and persistence

Time management and prioritization

Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
