Job Description

Job Summary:

The Entry-Level Software Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our mobile application through rigorous testing and troubleshooting. This role will involve working closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues, as well as contributing to the overall improvement of our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough testing of mobile applications to identify defects and usability issues.

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

  • Collaborate with the development team to prioritize and address bugs and issues identified during testing.

  • Document and track defects using bug tracking systems.

  • Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been resolved.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies related to mobile application testing.

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of testing environments and test data.

  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the quality and performance of the mobile application.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to meticulously follow testing procedures.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Familiarity with mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and mobile application testing tools.

  • Basic understanding of software development processes and methodologies.

  • Previous experience with test automation tools is a plus.
