Department Overview
Innovation is the oxygen of our company, and in 2023, we invested more than US$850 million in research and development (R&D). Job Description

We're looking for a self-driven Software Quality Assurance Analyst to take on a vital role in our software development quality assurance process. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing product specifications and executing targeted test cases to confirm compliance with those specifications. As a manual QA tester, you will be instrumental in identifying and resolving defects, preventing them from reaching our end-users.

The ideal candidate will have a familiarity with hardware, software and a keen eye for detail. You will be expected to demonstrate thoroughness in test execution and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of software quality.

Responsibilities:  

  • Understand product requirements and matching test cases

  • Setup test environment in preparation for manual test case execution

  • Execute test cases, analyze results and report all detected issues/defects

  • Track reported issues/defects and perform root cause analysis to understand the underlying problems

  • Collaborate with other team members and test managers.

  • Provide technical know-how, documentation and training to test and other business functions


Basic Requirements
  • Certificate or Diploma in Computer Science (or a related technical field)

  • Attention to detail

  • An analytical mindset and strong problem-solving aptitude 

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills 

The following would be advantageous

  • Working Knowledge of test management SW (e.g. ALM)

  • Familiarity with manual and regression testing processes

  • Familiarity with hardware testing  (telecommunications/IT networking products )
