Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering MTS in Seattle, WA:
Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Build expressive functional scalable and performant UI components for the Tableau Catalog product that can work seamlessly across desktop\server and online environments. Tackle a wide variety of technical challenges in building efficient and scalable systems for large scale data preparation and analyses. Work in a scrum team using agile processes, and interface within your team, with the product owner, and across teams with other developers that use our features and frameworks. Design and Build Customer Experiences on top of the data catalog that enable customers to identify the value of where the data is coming from (Lineage information), as well as its current state (Data Quality Warnings) and relevance to other data in the system. Adapt and work on different code bases like ReactJs with TypeScript for the frontend and Java, C++ and C# code bases for the backend. As well as use different versioning systems like Git and Perforce. Refactor existing code bases to make the code more efficient and maintainable. Utilize the Test-driven development (TDD) software development process and write code with high test coverage. *Above address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) Web Development; (3) Python; (4) Github; (5) SQL; (6) C#; (7) Data Structures; and (8) Software Development. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $137,259.00 - $172,800.00 per annum.
