We're seeking a passionate and experienced software engineering manager to lead multiple development teams. You will collaborate with a diverse group of technologists, product managers, quality experts, and UI/UX designers to bring our vision to life, ensuring key projects are delivered successfully and on schedule.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers working across multiple platforms and products.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and UX to drive features from concept to production.
- Oversee the design, development, and delivery of scalable applications, microservices and APIs, with a focus on performance, security, and maintenance.
- Ensure high standards of engineering excellence and Agile practices across the team.
- Support the continuous improvement of engineering tools, processes, and culture.
- Manage technical debt, plan for growth, and ensure platform reliability and supportability.
- Provide hands-on support and guidance on code, architecture, and infrastructure where needed.
- Understand the business and customer needs that drive urgency and timelines: you will be expected to clearly communicate the priorities and plans to the team.
- Train/coach employees and develop plans for career growth.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- While you won’t be required to write code, you will have to exhibit a strong understanding of the technologies used to develop our applications
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or management role.
- Strong hands-on experience with object-oriented languages (C#) and modern front-end development, specifically React.
- Proven expertise in designing and building APIs and service-based architectures.
- Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Agile methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in or leading teams in the Fintech industry.
