Built Technologies is looking for an Engineering Manager to manage our integrations team. Built is focused on bringing multiple new products to market over the next year, with a focus on third-party integrations to make our products an indispensable part of our customers’ workflows. We're looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact on our team and organization. Engineering Managers at Built serve as people leaders, technical leaders, and delivery managers for their teams.

TEAM The Integrations Team at Built is pivotal to the platform’s growth and long-term success. This team owns Built’s Process Automation and Partner API offerings, providing the core frameworks and tools that enable our Professional Services organization to deliver world-class service.

Tech Stack:

  • Cloud: AWS (EKS, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, Cognito)
  • Languages/Frameworks: TypeScript, Python, React, NestJS
  • Integration/Infrastructure: REST APIs, Kafka, MySQL, Snowflake, Temporal

We work closely with 3rd party partners to ensure seamless integrations that embed Built into the daily workflows of our customers.

ROLE SUMMARY & SCOPE Challenge:
As the Engineering Manager, Integrations, you will lead a high-impact team responsible for critical integration tooling and customer experiences. Our customers heavily rely on third-party tools, and enabling seamless integrations opens major growth opportunities for Built.

RESPONSIBILITIES / WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Serve as a "player-coach" for a Scrum team of 5–8 engineers, offering hands-on technical leadership when needed.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality integration tools and experiences.
  • Drive technical excellence and advocate for best practices across the stack.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and other teams to align business goals with technical deliverables.
  • Champion product quality, user experience, and system scalability.
  • Be a customer advocate: ensure solutions meet real-world needs.
  • Review architectural specifications and provide technical leadership.
  • Conduct code and peer reviews to maintain high standards.
  • Foster career development for direct reports with regular coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities.
  • Lead Scrum ceremonies and serve as Agile Scrum Master for the team.

SKILLS / WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven leadership experience: 2+ years managing engineering teams in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong technical foundation in cloud infrastructure (AWS) and modern programming languages (e.g., TypeScript, Python).
  • Passion for building scalable, resilient systems and delivering high-quality customer experiences.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive amidst ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Agile mindset with hands-on experience managing Scrum or similar agile frameworks.
  • Strong advocate for diversity, inclusion, and building a supportive, growth-minded team culture.


Built’s salary range for this position is $185,000-$225,000 USD per year. The pay range is designed to accommodate upward mobility in the role, therefore it encompasses the full span of proficiency levels for this role and we believe that the midpoint of the range is competitive in the market. Salary is just one component of Built's total compensation package for employees. Your total rewards package at Built will include equity, top-notch medical, dental and vision coverage, an unlimited PTO policy, and other benefits.
