• Build and maintain Tier-1 backend services and APIs for deploying and serving machine learning models in production
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to operationalize models and ensure performance, reliability, and scalability
• Write clean, efficient code for backend systems and agentic systems, building metrics and dashboards, and deep technical investigations
• Monitor and debug issues across systems - platform components, API, model-serving infrastructure
• Continuously improve system reliability, observability, and maintainability through thoughtful engineering and automation
• Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing ideas to simplify, scale, and improve our systems
• Explore how things work behind the scenes, proactively identifying and addressing inefficiencies or technical debt

• Strong experience with deploying machine learning models into production environments
• Strong experience with Evals with measurement driven approach to shipping AI capabilities
• Strong software engineering skills focused on maintainable systems and solid design
• Strong experience of operating Tier-1 systems at scale reliably
• Solid understanding of data workflows, including building and maintaining data pipelines and transformations
• A naturally curious mindset - you enjoy digging into unfamiliar systems and figuring out how things work
• Growth-oriented and self-driven - you like learning new tools, technologies, and patterns
• Good to have - Experience building and operating AI Agentic Systems at scale
