We are currently seeking a Back-End Software Engineer - PHP to join Symplicity Brasil and contribute to enhancing our comprehensive software solutions. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our U.S.-based team, so advanced conversational English is essential. To support your growth, we offer an English development program led by a dedicated full-time instructor.
This is an exciting opportunity to broaden your technical skills by learning Python and working with integration engineering tools and processes. No prior experience with Python or integration tools is required—we’ll provide all the training and support you need.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain features using PHP technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues—you enjoy digging into problems and finding smart, scalable solutions.
- Learn and apply Python to support integrations and automation workflows (no prior experience required).
- Work with integration tools to streamline systems and processes.
- Collaborate with QA, UX, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Improve and support system integrations across multiple platforms and services.
- Follow Agile methodologies and software engineering best practices.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
What We’re Looking For
- Solid experience with PHP development.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills—you’re someone who thrives on fixing issues and improving systems.
- Experience with system integrations or a strong interest in learning.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux command-line tools.
- Experience using Git or other version control systems.
- Advanced English for daily communication with international teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Python or interest in learning it for automation and integrations.
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Experience with QA processes, bug tracking, and test planning.
- Angular knowledge for front-end enhancements.
