DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop, test, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Drive significant business impact and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take an active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Work with the lines of business to help with adoption of the new platform.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 (five) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Analyst, System Engineer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: Java functional programming and J2EE; Working in a Linux environment to develop code. This position requires four (4) years of experience with the following: Performance and load testing levering JMeter; Unit testing leveraging Junit; Developing software utilizing Spring Boot to resolve application dependencies. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: Working with AWS services relating to networking, including VPC and Security Groups.
