We seek a Software Engineer- Machine Learning Platform (MLOps) to join our Machine Learning team and help take it to the next level.  As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the shared core infrastructure that serves as the foundation for our algorithms. You will drive enhancements and maintenance of our Paved Path development process as well as play a role in optimizing and tuning model performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Design the data pipelines and engineering infrastructure to support our machine learning systems at scale and in near-real time
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies to improve performance, maintainability, and reliability of our machine learning systems
  • Build CI/CD pipelines orchestration by GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Circle CI, Airflow or similar tools
  • Apply software engineering rigor and best practices to machine learning, including CI/CD, automation, testing, etc.
  • Support model development, with an emphasis on auditability, versioning, and data security
  • Effectively partner with product and other engineering teams 

Requirements:

  • MS in computer science, statistics, mathematics, operations research or related fields or a BS in related fields with 2+ years of experience.
  • Working experience with relational databases (SQL) and large scale distributed systems.
  • Ability to design and implement cloud solutions (AWS preferred)
  • Experience building custom integrations between cloud-based systems using APIs
  • Experience with MLOps Frameworks like Kubeflow, MLFlow, DataRobot, Airflow etc.,
  • Experience developing with containers and Kubernetes in cloud computing environments
  • Strong understanding of software testing, benchmarking, and continuous integration
  • Exposure to machine learning methodology and best practices
