Job Responsibilities
- Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
- Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus.
- Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Adds to the team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- At least 3 years of experience in systems and technology, preferably with exposure to financial systems.
- JavaScript and TypeScript
- React framework
- JEST & React testing libraries
- CSS styling
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in STEM.
- Exposure to financial industry, Future & Options is a plus.
- FIX protocol and workflow understanding.
- Webpack and Babel frameworks
- Material UI and JSS
- CSS Variables
- AG Grid
- Experience with one or more extra programming language(s).
