TITLE: Software Engineer IV
LOCATION: Maryland Heights, MO
JOB SUMMARY:
Work with technical teams to create software solutions that use prevailing technologies and improve the customers' experience while adhering to business and technical requirements. Develop, modify, enhance, and implement software systems designed to support business initiatives. Design and implement new functionality that is testable and performant with limited oversight and guidance following best practices and approve code patterns. Identify fixes and defects raised; identify system integration issues; lead code review, debugging, and testing of software applications; develop software independently and write testable and performant code; develop technical requirements and technical design documents; support major deployments and resolve critical deployments issues; collaborate with other team members to identify and solve technical problems; respond to customer inquiries around the behavior of the developed software; and mentor Software Engineer III's.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Applied Computing, or a related field. 3 years of experience utilizing frameworks such as MVC, Apache Struts, Hibernate, Spring, jQuery, Bootstrap, or IBM AngularJS. 3 years of experience utilizing languages such as Java, Postman, SQL, or IBM PL/SQL. 2 years of experience utilizing web technologies such as JSP, JavaScript, Ajax, XML, HTML, DHTML, SOAP, or IBM RESTful. 2 years of experience utilizing databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, AWS, MS Access, My SQL, or IBM DB2. 2 years of experience utilizing Application servers such as Web Sphere, Web logic, Tomcat, or IBM Jboxx. 1 year of experience monitoring alerts, troubleshooting, and production support using Splunk. 1 year of experience building APIs using Postman. 1 year of experience coding, testing, and debugging using Javascript. *Hybrid (office and remote) work arrangement is available.
