Our strong Storefront engineering team @Chewy is focused on building solutions that guide pet lovers in making their best, most informed decisions to purchase products that their pets love, every single day. As an engineer in our PDP team, you will work with a dedicated group of backend and frontend engineers, product managers, and business leaders in an Agile environment to develop and improve our customer's PDP experience. The base salary range for this role is $115,000 - $190,000.00.

What You'll Need:
- Strong knowledge and experience developing large-scale products using frontend stack, such as JavaScript/ES6, React, NextJs, CSS(SASS/SCSS), Webpack, Node.js
- Experience working with GraphQL
- 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing scalable, high-performing and fault-tolerant applications for large enterprises.
- Experience architecting frontend systems across multiple domain teams with cross-cutting concerns
- Experience evaluating, measuring, and tuning application performance, especially for the frontend
- Hands-on experience working in a public cloud environment.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
Bonus:
- Experience designing and developing reusable and accessible component libraries
- Working experience with Amazon Web Services
- Working experience in Java/Kotlin, Splunk, Datadog, Jenkins, Git, Artifactory
- Knowledge of Content Management Systems
- Experience in Test Driven Development
- Agile experience is a plus
- Data informed product development using tools such as Google Analytics, Optimizely
- Background in e-commerce
The base salary range for this role is $115,000 - $190,000.00.
- The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.
