This is a remote position, however candidate will be expected to travel to our R&D office in Knoxville, TN approximately once a quarter. Activities:
- Primary focus will be feature development across a modern web stack
- Secondary focus will be frontend and backend optimization and bug fixes
- Software development using .NET Core C#, Angular, and Python
- Self-starter with a passion for continuous learning and personal development
Required Skills:
- Understanding of Computer Science concepts for software development
- Direct experience building or contributing to web applications either via course work or internships
- Basic familiarity with Agile project management concepts including Sprints and Scrums
Education/Training, Qualifications, and Certification:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar technical/engineering degree and 5+ years of progressive experience in a similar role
- OR no degree with a minimum of 7 years of direct software development experience in .NET C# and Angular
- Minimum of 3 years of direct software development experience in Python
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Preference for candidates with any training, certifications, or direct skills with Angular, .NET Core, Python, or Microsoft Azure
- Preference for candidates with direct experience with Django
- Preference for candidates with a proven history of success in a remote position for more than 2 years
- Must be a US Citizen and capable of passing a background check and random periodic drug testing
