In this role, you will develop new customer-facing features, enhance existing systems with automation, and improve observability of business applications that power the e-commerce platform and beyond. Further, you will have the opportunity to collaborate across the engineering organization to deliver self-service solutions which empower internal customers to move rapidly while building on Chewy's enterprise platforms!

What You'll Do:
- Apply algorithms, data structures, and design patterns to build scalable and performant code
- Partner with collaborators and technology teams on how to best implement desired customer features and improvements
- Collaborate with Team Members to drive solutions to standardize methodologies, workflows, reusable modules, and tooling
- Help build standard processes for logging, testing, instrumentation, metrics, monitors, alerts, practices, and processes
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Participate in on-call rotations
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering
- Experience with React, Typescript, NodeJS
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins or similar tool
- Must be team oriented and have a customer first mentality!
Bonus:
- Experience with Python
- Experience with agile methodologies a plus
- Experience with version control systems, bug/issue and tracking tools
