Software Engineer – Front End
Boston, MA (Hybrid/In-Person)

At RedCircle, we’re building the technology that powers the future of podcast advertising — and we need a skilled engineer to help make it happen.

As a front-end engineer here, you’ll craft the user experience that powers our mission: connecting thousands of podcast creators with advertisers every day, helping independent voices thrive and enabling marketers to reach the right audiences at scale. The tools you build aren’t just interfaces — they’re the control center for our customers’ businesses. When creators log in, they’re managing their livelihood; when advertisers log in, they’re executing high-impact campaigns. Your work will shape how they see, understand, and act on their most important opportunities.

We’re a small, highly-skilled, and tight-knit engineering team that ships quickly and owns what we build. We value craftsmanship, reliability, and measurable impact. At RedCircle, engineers don’t just implement tickets — they shape the product, collaborate with leadership (including our CEO, who’s an engineer himself), and see projects through from idea to deployment.

If you want to work in an environment where your work matters, where you’ll learn fast, and where the tech you build has a visible, positive effect in the real world, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain the front end apps that power our podcast advertising platform (e.g. our website, the main webapp, embedded players, etc).
  • Collaborate closely with other engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to deliver features end-to-end.
  • Work on high-impact projects that directly drive revenue for creators and advertisers.
  • Take ownership — from UX to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
  • Continuously improve performance and usability across our apps.

Who You Are

  • Have 2–5 years of professional front-end experience (more senior candidates welcome).  This job requires previous experience and is not for new college or new bootcamp graduates.
  • Strong in JavaScript/TypeScript; bonus points for experience with Go or willingness to work across the stack when needed.
  • Comfortable with typical *nix dev tools (CLI, git, etc.) and modern development workflows.
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy designing elegant solutions with your teammates.
  • Excited to take full ownership of projects in a lean, fast-moving environment.
  • Love learning new technologies and improving your craft, no matter your experience level.
  • Located in (or willing to relocate to) Boston — we work hybrid, with several in-office days each week for deeper collaboration.
