About the Role:

Engineers on the Enterprise Team support Notion’s largest customers, focusing on providing:

  • Security features like SIEM, DLP, audit log, fine-grained access settings

  • Integrations with customer personnel systems via IDP/SCIM

  • Scaling performance to serve large enterprise customers

  • Occasional white glove service for unique customer needs

  • Consulting with Notion Sales teams for new enterprise customers’ asks

What You'll Achieve:

The Notion Enterprise Engineering Team has a broad surface area that allows you to own large portions of important features and infrastructure. Over time, your work on the team will grow your:

  • Infrastructure skills as we leverage new tools to enhance our scaling performance to larger customers

  • Security expertise since we both ship security features and collaborate closely with security teams at Notion

  • Communication skills with both Engineering/Product/Design stakeholders as well as customers and Notion Sales collaborators.

Skills You'll Need to Bring:
  • A sense of urgency and agency; YOU are the owner of your own destiny here at Notion and everywhere

  • A customer focus; you’ll go the extra mile to really understand the customer’s needs

  • Deep expertise in at least one data storage technology. Could be a cache, could be databases (SQL or Non). Expect to acquire more on the job.

  • Thoughtful and thorough integration and unit testing.

  • An appreciation of beautiful design and full-stack software craft.

  • You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results.

Nice to Haves:
  • Experience directly communicating with 5000+ person enterprise customers

  • Experience maintaining SCIM/SIEM/HRIS integrations

Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in New York City, the estimated base salary range for this role is $179,000- $210,000 per year.
