Title: Software Engineer III
Department: Engineering
Reports To: Senior Director, Engineering
FLSA Status: Exempt
Location: US (Remote)
This Software Engineer III will be part of the team designing and developing the digital identity infrastructure. Leveraging your knowledge and passion for excellence you will deliver well-thought-out software solutions as part of a fault-tolerant, scalable platform utilizing a variety of cutting-edge technologies. This is a hands-on role where you will need to demonstrate the skills, experience, and confidence to work with other senior engineers and product management team members to deliver solutions that will delight our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to designs of major software components, systems, and features
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code that meets coding standards
- Ensure designs comply with requirements, perform code reviews
- Own delivery of software features from inception to production
- Engage with Product to define technical requirements and design
- Engage with IT/Ops to ensure software makes it out to production in a timely manner
- Exercise creative thinking and imagination to find solutions to hard problems
- Promote, maintain, and enhance our cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion, and leadership
Qualifications and Experience:
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and experience with at least one of them (e.g., Python, Java)
- Experience architecting and developing solutions to complex problems.
- Experience with public cloud services.
- Bachelor’s in computer science or other quantitative fields or relevant experience.
- Experience with database internals, database language theories, database design, SQL, Graph QL and No SQL technologies.
- DevOps Experience highly desirable
- Strong passion for learning about our products and markets through in-house and external training.
- Experience in high growth /pre-IPO Technology companies is a plus.

The salary range for this role is $135,000 - $170,000 plus company bonus. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
