Join our Live Dashboards team, a small group of experienced engineers, where we build dynamic, modular dashboards and user interfaces that power the Nexthink platform. While the team focuses on frontend innovation, your role will be critical in designing and maintaining the backend services that support these micro frontends - ensuring scalability, performance, and seamless integration across the platform. 

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement backend services that support micro frontend applications like dashboards and widgets. 

• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to define APIs and data contracts that enable modular UI components. 

• Build and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Micronaut (preferred) or Spring Boot. 

• Ensure high performance and reliability of backend systems through testing, monitoring, and optimization. 

• Integrate with data pipelines and analytics services to deliver real-time insights to frontend components. 

• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of our backend ecosystem. 

• Embrace DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code. 

• Work in an agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. 

• 5+ years of experience in backend development, ideally in Java. 

• Strong background in scalable software architecture: microservices, APIs (REST, gRPC), containers (Docker, Kubernetes, Istio), and messaging systems (Kafka). 

• Experience with Micronaut or Spring Boot frameworks. 

• Familiarity with frontend-backend integration patterns, especially in micro frontend environments. 

• Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS preferred). 

• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka is a plus. 

• Good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
