Design and develop backend systems and APIs for wearable physiological measurement devices, focusing on scalable solutions and integration across product lines.
We are seeking an aspiring Backend Software Engineer to join our Product Development Team at Delsys. You’ll help build the core infrastructure behind our signal acquisition and processing software, powering innovative solutions for wearable physiological sensors and real-world health applications.
We’re looking for engineers who are passionate about solving complex problems, building scalable systems, and contributing meaningfully to product development. Primary Responsibilities:
• Architect and develop backend systems for our core products, including body-worn physiological measurement devices.
• Design and implement APIs and software components that integrate seamlessly across our product lines.
• Build robust data management strategies using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Develop drivers and communication protocols for custom PC peripherals.
• Translate cutting-edge research into production-ready software solutions that make a real-world impact.
Requirements
Qualifications
• A degree (or near completion) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, C#, or C++.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and MVVM (or MVC) architectural patterns.
• Experience developing backend systems for Windows or Linux environments.
• Bonus: Familiarity with wearable tech, real-time data processing, or signal acquisition.
• Must be able to show valid work eligibility.
