- Design stable, well-documented APIs that enable video players and applications to integrate with FreeWheel services.
- Collaborate with Product Management, QA, Solutions Engineering, and other engineering teams to translate product and customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, automated testing, and release activities.
- Improve SDK performance, reliability, test coverage, observability, and developer experience.
- Support customers and internal teams with complex player integrations and production issues when needed.
- Mentor and collaborate with other engineers and contribute to engineering best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented or functional design, debugging, testing, and API design.
- Professional software development experience with at least one of the following: - Web: JavaScript and modern browser technologies

- Android: Java and/or Kotlin - Experience designing, developing, or integrating client-side libraries, SDKs, applications, or reusable software components.
- Experience with source control, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern software development practices.

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering and product teams.
