The Software Development Intern will work on frontend and backend technologies, collaborating on projects involving HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side development with Node.js and Python.

We work with some of the largest retailers in the world, performing market surveillance, auditing and inspecting the products we put in and on our bodies. We help customers ensure that not only are their products themselves safe, but their supply chains are using ethically and sustainably sourced materials. We build close relationships, providing advice and expertise to help them deliver safer products that meet the latest requirements and manufacture them fairly. Technical Experience/Requirements:
Frontend technologies
- HTML
- CSS
- Experience with CSS frameworks. i.e. Tailwind CSS
- JavaScript, TypeScript
- Experience with frontend libraries. i.e. React.js
- Experience with UI frameworks. i.e. antd and shadcn
- Experience with global state management tools. i.e. Redux and React Context API
Backend technologies
- Experience with server side technologies. i.e. Node.js and Python
- Experience with building RESTful APIs and using server side frameworks. i.e. Express.js
- Experience with developing and managing SQL and NoSQL databases. i.e. SQLite, MySQL, MongoDB
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years old at time of application.
- Indefinite right to work in the U.S.
- BS or Bootcamp in Computer Science or Engineering Coding related degree
- 1-3 years experience, 1 being in SW related projects
- Ability to work minimum 40 hours per week
